As a milestone, what you're witnessing here is our first floral-infused Barrel Project release as an imperial stout. This wonderful thing sat almost a year in an ex-mezcal barrel and as a finish, we've added Damascus rose and 2 kinds of pepper: chipotle and ghost. At the nose, you can feel the chocolate and rose with a peppery spiciness, while upon tasting, the thick dark chocolate and the hotness of ghost pepper are coming into the spotlight, supported by the light smokiness from the barrel and the chipotle.
